How an Old Horse Trailer Became The Giving Trough
The Giving Trough started with a simple idea: take an old horse trailer, give it a second life, and use it to help give animals a better one.
What was once built to haul horses has been converted into a mobile bar that can roll into community events, fundraisers and celebrations throughout our area.
But this isn't just another mobile bar.
The service of The Giving Trough is donated to help raise money for the Humane Society of Greene County, Ohio. It gives us another way to bring people together, introduce more of our community to the work of the Humane Society, and turn a good time into something that does some good.
Every event is an opportunity to raise money, raise awareness and help animals who depend on people willing to step up for them.

Why We Pour
The Giving Trough supports the Humane Society of Greene County, Ohio — a separate organization we're proud to raise money and awareness for. The Giving Trough itself is a fundraising and community initiative, not the Humane Society.
To prevent animal suffering from overpopulation by way of spay/neuter subsidy programs. To eliminate neglect and abusive treatment of livestock by enforcing the statutes according to the Ohio Revised Code and additionally to promote education in the humane care and maintenance of all animals. — Humane Society of Greene County, Ohio
